This week, Ubisoft announced the new “Resistance” update for Tom Clancy’s The Division.
This update will include a new PvE multi-zone map called West Side Pier. This is so much more than just a map, though! It will include mini-assignments, dynamic enemy respawning and alerts for new events.
And, to try and encourage players to play the PvE content, they will receive the same rewards as the PvP Dark Zone, including Division Tech resources.
This update will also introduce the “Resistance Mode”. A co-op mode for up to 4 players, where teams can take on copious amounts of enemies. Pegged for an Autumn release, this Resistance update will finally include a four-on-four Skirmish mode. This will resemble a time-based multiplayer match that has one goal: kill off the enemy team.
Here’s hoping this this will give the Division the facelift it’s been needing!
