DualShockers Address Origins 60fps Rumour

Not too long ago, Youtuber Dee Batch made a claim that Ubisoft's new Assassin's Creed title, Origins, would be able to over 1080p resolution with running speeds of up to 60 frames per second on the Xbox One X.

As you can imagine, the rumour mill cranked into high gear! However, the lads over at DualShockers reached out to Ubisoft and asked if the rumours we true, once and for all.

Ubisoft's response? See for yourself:

“It is too soon for us to say, as of today as the game framerate has not been locked yet. Our goal is take full advantage of the hardware horsepower to deliver the best possible experience on all platforms. Assassin’s Creed Origins will use dynamic resolution rendering, so the resolution will adapt to ensure a smooth frame rate and the best image possible in all situations.”

Now, don't be too disheartened, this is basically a neutral response. They have neither confirmed nor denied that the potential of Assassin's Creed Origins is as Dee Batch speculated. So there is still hope that this rumour may infact turn into truth.

Assassin's Creed Origins is pegged for release on Xbox, PS4 and PC on October 27th.
