The developer and publisher duo of Big Ben and Eko Software have released new screenshots for the upcoming Warhammer: Chaosbane, which is currently in development for both PC and console platforms and due for release in 2019, although we currently have information on an actual release date. You can be sure that we will have news about that as and when it happens.
Warhammer: Chaosbane is going to be the first Action/RPG genre hybrid to take place in Games Workshops fantasy setting, seeing the player hurled into the aftermath of the Great War of Chaos. For those who don’t know, it was a bloody conflict that occurred earlier in the history of the Old World. Let’s be honest though, Warhammer is a universe that doesn’t seem all too peaceful, so conflict is pretty much guaranteed.
The game will feature the following races; Human, High Elf, Wood Elf and a Dwarf. Which sounds like the start of a bad joke. But there’s no pub they’re walking into. Instead there will be iconic locations like the city Praha and Nuln, which was the capital city of the Empire once.
We have seen a lot of games in the Warhammer universe making their way to gaming consoles and PC in recent years, proving that it’s becoming increasingly more popular as time goes by, and many genres being covered, offering something for everyone’s taste. As always, we will have more news about Warhammer: Chaosbane as we get fed it, then we will hand it out to you. In the meantime, check out these screenshots and tell me they don’t look good.
