It was round 3 for the BlueMotion team last weekend (May bank holiday weekend). And the team were very excited for their first outing at the British Superbikes Championship, with their new rider Jack Knights.
The team had a really successful weekend at the round previous at Caldwell Park with the NG Road Racing Championship, coming home with a double podium, which was a first for the hard working team!!
Overall the weekend was very positive! Qualifying was not quite the result everyone hoped for, however with the scorching weather and struggling with dehydration from wearing all of the thick leathers, protective gear and helmet, it was hard for Jack to push himself to the max and the team knew that the race was more important.
Both races of the weekend were very positive, Jack made up 6 places during race 1 and he pushed hard and got involved in some really close battles. Race 2 Jack made up even more places from the race previous and even set himself a new personal best at the Oulton track😏
The team are so proud of how well Jack is doing and how much he is progressing. He’s such a great young talent with lots of exciting potential for his future in racing!

After Amy chatted with Jack asking how his weekend went, he said; “The weekend was very good with a lot of changes each session to the bike, all weekend was spent making changes to the bike and by Monday we had the bike perfect, all in all a very good weekend and came away with some things to improve on!”
